Shipping + policy
We offer USPS Priority Mail - Flat Rate Shipping on all orders in the US. We ship Monday through Friday, and so orders placed on the weekend will be shipped the following Monday. We cannot be responsible for orders where USPS tracking indicates that the item has been delivered but you have not received it. We will not replace these orders free of charge, but we will do our best to help you resolve the matter.
REFUNDS + EXCHANGES
Due to the nature of our products, returns cannot be accepted once they are opened. However, we want you to be completely satisfied with your order, so if the product does not meet your expectations, please contact us!

Twigs + Roots products are 100% natural + free of chemicals and preservatives, therefore the shelf life of most of our products is 12 months from the day they are shipped. We recommend that products such as our natural bug spray and sunscreen be used within the season they are purchased.
Please read the ingredients before using. We do only use natural ingredients, however, everyone is different and could potentially have an unexpected issue. If you have any concerns, please be cautious, and do a skin patch test before using the item. Each Twigs + Roots product is made by hand in Nashville, Tennessee.
We have a number of customers with sensitive skin that have used our products with great success. We believe a lot of skin sensitivities are brought on by chemicals, detergents and synthetics in commercial skin care products, and that is why we make our products without those irritation triggers. If you are particularly sensitive we do recommend the use of our natural deodorant without baking soda.
Some of our items (including, but not limited to, Baby Balm, Salves and Deodorants) are susceptible to hot weather conditions and are noted on the product pages with *melt warning*. We ARE NOT responsible for items melting during shipping in hot weather. Unfortunately, we can not accept return of items that have melted during shipping. If you are concerned about your products arriving in optimal condition, please contact us for quotes on shipping that includes cold packs and insulation. If you do order and your items happen to arrive soft/melted, you can put them in the refrigerator to help them firm up, but the texture may not be the same. Making sure you are home at the time of delivery, or shipping to an air conditioned location like a business, will help insure that your items do not sit on a porch or in a mailbox during hot weather.
We recommend giving yourself a minimum 24 hour armpit detox from any other deodorants. When you are ready to start using your natural deodorant, apply sparingly: 1-2 swipes is all you need! Our products are less diluted than the previous deodorants you have been using, so you don't need as much. If you feel the 1-2 swipes is not enough, use your fingertips to distribute the deodorant evenly across your pits!
